AI and Data Engineer – Finance Enterprise Data Solutions

Location: Penang, Malaysia; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned Intel site and off-site work. Shift 1, Malaysia.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and scale cloud-based data and AI solutions for enterprise finance analytics.
• Build and optimize modern data architectures, data pipelines, and data products.
• Deliver AI-powered insights and near real-time data-driven solutions for business stakeholders.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using enterprise BI platforms.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, treasury, supply chain, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Apply Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, engineering, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and data solution delivery in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, including scalable data pipeline and analytical solution development.
• Experience with Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and related data technologies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
• Understanding of AI, Generative AI, responsible AI governance, enterprise BI, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, Power BI, Sigma Reporting, SAP BusinessObjects, or Web Intelligence.
• Exposure to MLOps, AIOps, data observability, model lifecycle management, or AI solution deployment.
• Finance, accounting, treasury, supply chain, or related enterprise domain knowledge.
