People Operations Manager (EMEA)

What you will do

• Lead the regional People Operations function and manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes for approximately 400 EMEA employees.
• Own onboarding, background checks, HRIS data, payroll inputs, benefits, leave administration, and offboarding.
• Develop SOPs, workflows, service standards, and JIRA helpdesk operations aligned with global guidance.
• Partner with Payroll, IT, Compliance, Legal, People Partners, and external providers on transactions, audits, vendors, and local requirements.
• Improve data integrity through regular audits, quality checks, reporting, and governance.
• Drive process improvement, automation, AI adoption, systems implementation, and regional People projects.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a related HR generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, HRIS administration, payroll inputs, benefits, leave, and employee data management.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple EMEA countries, including the Netherlands, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, or Poland.
• Knowledge of local employment requirements, payroll processes, variable compensation, and country-specific employee matters.
• Strong organisational, communication, problem-solving, confidentiality, and data accuracy skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume operational work, prioritise competing requests, and improve processes in an ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with BambooHR, Deel, Jira, Confluence, Lattice, Slack, or Google Workspace.
• Experience supporting EOR populations or employees across multiple legal entities.
• Experience with HR systems implementation, workflow automation, reporting, or AI-enabled process improvement.
• Professional HR qualification or equivalent practical experience.
