FEP Manager III, Customer Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Shonai, Japan. Full-time role with approximately 10% travel and relocation eligibility.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with customers and conduct regular customer visits.
• Manage, coach, and direct customer engineers, including objectives, performance reviews, career planning, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with product divisions on technical support, training, spares, and reliability.
• Manage district account planning, sales support plans, financial forecasts, and cost efficiency.
• Plan and execute system installations, including facility preparation, start-up meetings, reporting, and process support identification.
• Manage escalation and RMA procedures, engineer performance measurement, and customer engineer hours tracking.

Requirements

• Experience managing customer engineering or field engineering activities.
• Ability to lead, coach, and evaluate engineers according to company policies.
• Ability to analyze relevant business and technical factors and exercise judgment within established procedures.
• Ability to present technical information and gain cooperation from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of business conduct and compliance standards.
• Availability to work in Shonai, Japan and travel approximately 10% of the time.
