Data Management Specialist-Customer Operations (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role; candidates are expected to be based in Bucharest, Romania

Salary: 4,000–5,000 RON net per month

What you will do

• Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve customer requests related to data classification and supplier consolidation through the support platform.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve data issues using technical concepts and SQL.
• Communicate with clients by email and participate occasionally in client meetings as a data management subject matter expert.
• Identify root causes and implement long-term, maintainable solutions for data issues.
• Collaborate with teammates, software development teams, and clients to solve data-related problems.
• Contribute to software improvements and internal best practices that increase the speed and quality of spend data classification.

Requirements

• Experience in customer support or another customer-facing role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively.
• Experience with SQL, including following scripts, understanding their purpose, and creating simple queries.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
• Fluent English and the ability to work from Bucharest in a hybrid setup.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of data visualization tools.
• Understanding of procurement or finance.
• Additional language skills.
