Career Consultant (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office or onsite with clients

Base salary: $75,500–$151,000 per year, plus potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Support client engagements focused on HR and workforce transformation, including operating models, service delivery, work redesign, and people programs.
• Research AI, automation, HR technology, workforce skills, talent processes, and the changing nature of work.
• Analyze workforce, HR operations, organizational structures, and ways of working to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop analyses, recommendations, presentations, reports, and other client-ready materials with guidance from senior consultants.
• Apply AI-enabled tools to improve consulting delivery and help clients redesign HR services and work.
• Participate in client interviews, workshops, working sessions, and team problem-solving activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational psychology, technology, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in consulting or HR roles.
• Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and task-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and build relationships with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in the New York City office at least three days per week or onsite with clients.

Nice to have

• Experience or coursework in HR optimization, digital transformation, or AI applications in business.
• Experience with data analysis platforms, programming, or digital project management.
• Familiarity with HR operating models, skills assessment, reskilling, upskilling, performance management, career pathways, or internal mobility.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools for research, analysis, or content development.
