IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Cloud)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid workplace with openness to remote work.

What you will do

• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, dependencies, and quality standards.
• Lead infrastructure implementation, migration, upgrade, and modernization initiatives across data centers, servers, storage, virtualization, networks, and cloud environments.
• Coordinate Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Manage technical risks, operational constraints, cross-functional blockers, contractual obligations, SLAs, delivery commitments, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate change management, testing, approvals, deployment planning, rollback procedures, service continuity, operational readiness, documentation, knowledge transfer, and formal handover.
• Report on KPIs, budgets, milestones, risks, issues, forecasts, lessons learned, and project closure to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT infrastructure, IT operations, technology transformation, or infrastructure delivery.
• Experience with infrastructure projects involving data centers, servers, storage, virtualization, networks, cloud platforms, migrations, or technology upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budget and resource management, risk management, IT infrastructure architecture, change management, and service continuity.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, external vendors, stakeholders, contractual obligations, SLAs, and service quality.
• Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies; experience with Jira, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
• English proficiency at an intermediate or advanced level, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
