Sr Divisional Strategy Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Base pay: $69,800–$125,900 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Support the development of divisional strategies.
• Identify tools to assess and track strategic opportunities.
• Develop reports end to end and synthesize business information.
• Interface with internal business, technical, and analytical teams to achieve strategic outcomes.
• Support governance processes for evaluating strategic opportunities.
• Manage complex corporate projects in a matrixed environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in healthcare or consulting; alternatively, a master’s or professional degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of relevant experience.
• Project management skills, including organization, prioritization, problem solving, communication, and the ability to accept direction and feedback.
• Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
• Experience working with staff and management across multiple departments and organizational levels.
• Presentation and group facilitation experience.
• PC proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, including strong Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or health insurance experience supporting ACA and Commercial markets.
• Advanced knowledge of ACA and Commercial provider networks, KPIs, trends, and financial concepts.
• Experience developing or supporting ACA and Commercial network strategy, network design, adequacy, and market initiatives.
• Experience solving complex conceptual and operational problems.
• Analytical up- and downstream thinking, information-seeking ability, openness to learning, and strong attention to detail.
