SAP RAR & BRIM Business Analyst

Location: San Jose, CA, United States; other listed locations include Pittsburgh, PA and Dallas, TX. The role is associated with US-based employment.

Base compensation: $110,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, solution design, implementation, and optimization of SAP RAR and SAP BRIM capabilities.
• Design revenue recognition processes aligned with IFRS 15 and ASC 606, including performance obligations, SSP allocation, deferrals, and reporting.
• Architect BRIM solutions covering Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, billing, invoicing, and contract management.
• Design integrations across SAP SD, FI/CO, BRIM, RAR, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms.
• Lead migration from legacy and Sidecar RAR environments to Embedded RAR in SAP S/4HANA.
• Direct solution governance, testing, deployment, go-live, hypercare, stakeholder advisory, and mentoring activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP functional, solution architecture, or enterprise application experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP RAR implementation and support experience.
• 5+ years of SAP BRIM implementation experience, including Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing, and FI-CA.
• Deep knowledge of order-to-cash, billing, revenue recognition, financial accounting, and revenue operations.
• Experience with BRF+ revenue recognition rules, revenue allocation frameworks, SAP S/4HANA architecture, and enterprise integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, plus strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• SAP certification in BRIM, RAR, SAP S/4HANA Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Cloud ALM, SAP Analytics, Salesforce integrations, or enterprise billing ecosystems.
• Experience in subscription-based, SaaS, healthcare technology, medical device, or recurring-revenue businesses.
• Experience with global revenue recognition programs and multi-company implementations.
