Engineer II, Analytics & Metrology (Metrology)

What you will do

• Develop, validate, and sustain measurement systems, inspection methods, and metrology standards.
• Lead Measurement System Analysis, including GR&R and capability studies.
• Support FOUP design qualification, engineering changes, and production ramp-up.
• Define and maintain metrology plans, specifications, and control strategies aligned with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate measurement-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Serve as the metrology subject-matter expert for internal, customer, and regulatory audits while partnering with design, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in metrology, dimensional inspection, or quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, MSA, SPC, and statistical capability analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines or optical measurement systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or with FOUP-related products.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, customer specifications, and audit processes.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction or high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive improvements under tight timelines.
