Software Engineer (Open Source AI)

Location: Remote from Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico

What you will do

• Build and maintain open source AI integrations, frameworks, SDKs, notebooks, and reference applications for hirify.global B2 Cloud Storage.
• Use AI coding agents and tools such as Claude Code, Antigravity, and Codex to accelerate development, testing, and maintenance.
• Develop with Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, JavaScript, B2 SDKs, REST APIs, Jupyter, and Google Colab.
• Contribute to open source projects through code contributions, issue triage, reviews, and ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain public GitHub repositories with strong testing, documentation, reproducibility, security, performance, and developer usability.
• Collaborate with Product and QA to reflect real customer AI workflows and hirify.global B2 usage patterns.

Requirements

• Experience contributing to open source projects in one or more widely used open source languages.
• Experience owning and maintaining public repositories with external users and contributors.
• Practical understanding of AI workflows, including data ingestion, preprocessing, inference, agent-based systems, and data orchestration.
• Experience writing production-quality code with strong testing and documentation practices.
• Strong written communication skills focused on developer experience and adoption.
• Ability to work remotely from Colombia, Costa Rica, or Mexico.
