Operations Supervisor I (Data Center Operations)

Location: On-site in Abilene or Dallas, Texas, USA, with travel to active construction and data center project environments as required. Night shift: 6 PM to 6 AM, Monday-Friday.

What you will do

• Supervise daily operations across assigned data center construction projects and job sites.
• Monitor production, quality, safety, customer satisfaction, KPIs, and operational metrics.
• Coordinate workforce utilization, staffing, onboarding, training, site access, and employee development.
• Coordinate project resources, schedules, milestones, materials, equipment, and logistics.
• Prepare operational reports, analyze project data, identify risks, and present updates to leadership and customers.
• Support subcontractor oversight, documentation, invoice validation, compliance, and project closeout.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in business, construction, project management, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations supervision, construction management, telecommunications, data center operations, infrastructure projects, or a related industry.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with operational reporting, dashboards, workforce planning, and performance tracking.
• Ability to work on-site, travel to project locations, and work the 6 PM-6 AM Monday-Friday night shift.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, project management, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience in hyperscale data center environments.
• Knowledge of workforce management systems, project scheduling tools, ERP, project management, and reporting platforms.
• Understanding of construction operations, logistics, and material management.
