Senior Manager, Global Safety & Security

Location: San Jose, California, United States

Salary: $180,000–$230,000 USD annually, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a global safety and security strategy aligned with business growth and international expansion.
• Establish security governance, standards, policies, procedures, and enterprise-wide risk management frameworks.
• Lead physical security across offices, engineering labs, executive sites, and critical business operations, including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, and guard services.
• Build executive protection programs, coordinate secure travel and events, and manage external protection providers.
• Establish a scalable GSOC with 24/7 monitoring and response capabilities.
• Develop travel risk management, duty-of-care, incident response, crisis management, and security technology programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, business, emergency management, risk management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive corporate security experience.
• 5+ years leading global security programs within a multinational technology company.
• Experience with physical security, executive protection, crisis management, travel risk, security operations, and security technology.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and experience partnering with HR, Legal, Facilities, IT, Travel, Communications, and executive leadership.

Nice to have

• CPP, PSP, PCI, CFE, or a similar industry certification.
