Senior Director, Enterprise Physical Security & Safety

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Office attendance is required 4–5 days per week with expected onsite presence for building security operations, executive protection planning, Security Command Center coordination, and incident response. Occasional travel of less than 10% is required, including possible overnight domestic travel.

Salary: $200,000–$270,000 annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise physical security, workplace safety, and facility security programs across office locations.
• Oversee access control, visitor management, building security operations, security procedures, and vendor performance.
• Direct the Security Command Center, including monitoring, incident triage, escalation, communications, and operational performance.
• Modernize access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, and mass notification technologies.
• Lead executive protection, threat intelligence, travel security, event security, and threat assessment programs.
• Manage responses to security incidents, workplace violence concerns, investigations, emergencies, crises, and business continuity events while partnering with HR, Legal, Compliance, Real Estate, Communications, and business leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, business, public administration, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 12 years of progressive experience in corporate security, law enforcement, executive protection, military, intelligence, emergency management, or a related function.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience managing teams, vendors, programs, or complex security operations.
• Experience leading physical security operations in a multi-site corporate environment and managing third-party security vendors and technology integrators.
• Experience with executive protection, protective intelligence, event security, secure transportation, travel risk management, and Security Operations Center or Security Command Center functions.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship; this role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, insurance, regulated industries, or large public companies.
• Experience building or modernizing a Security Command Center or GSOC operating model.
• Knowledge of workplace violence prevention, behavioral threat management, business continuity, crisis management, emergency action planning, travel security, or duty of care.
• Professional certification such as CPP, PSP, PCI, CFE, CBCP, ICS/NIMS, or a recognized executive protection credential.
