Communications Specialist (Atlassian)

Salary: $105,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement communication strategies supporting DHS OCIO and the migration of Atlassian products to Atlassian Government Cloud.
• Analyze working-group feedback and synthesize it into actionable themes and communication content.
• Support external stakeholder communications and strategic engagements with DHS Component tenants.
• Create talking points, briefing slides, and other strategic messaging materials.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise for stakeholder engagement efforts.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, public policy, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and synthesize feedback.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
