Senior Cribl Engineer

Location: Work from home in Virginia, United States; domestic and international travel to customer sites or hirify.global offices may be required.

Salary: $140,000–$185,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of Cribl Stream, Cribl Edge, and related telemetry data pipeline solutions.
• Architect and optimize data ingestion, routing, filtering, transformation, enrichment, and telemetry governance strategies.
• Integrate Cribl with SIEMs, data lakes, observability platforms, cloud analytics environments, and security platforms.
• Work with customers to gather requirements, conduct architecture workshops, and reduce SIEM and storage costs.
• Provide deployment, tuning, troubleshooting, performance optimization, documentation, and implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with hirify.global teams on delivery, managed services transition, and ongoing customer optimization.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and optimizing Cribl Stream, Cribl Edge, or related telemetry and data pipeline technologies.
• Strong experience with log and telemetry pipelines, data routing, transformation, filtering, enrichment, and ingestion optimization.
• Experience integrating SIEM, observability, security analytics, and cloud data platforms, with knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell, plus troubleshooting complex data pipeline and observability issues.
• Experience leading customer-facing professional services engagements, including requirements gathering, architecture workshops, implementation, and knowledge transfer.
• Valid U.S. Passport and at least one current Cribl certification required.

Nice to have

• Active Secret clearance required at minimum.
• Cribl Certified Service Consultant certification and additional Cribl certifications.
• Experience with Cribl Search, Cribl Lake, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Elastic, Palo Alto Cortex, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Kinesis, or Pulsar.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern data lake or lakehouse architectures.
• Experience supporting federal, DoD, intelligence community, DHS, or civilian government customers.
