Data Engineer

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $78,000–$120,000 per year

hirify.global manages and protects client data for healthcare-related operations, including enrollment, medical claims, and pharmacy claims.

What you will do

• Create, maintain, and execute SQL scripts for data management and validation.
• Optimize queries and analyze data to identify and resolve issues.
• Manage data implementations, production activities, quality checks, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, DBA, and other groups to troubleshoot environmental and network issues.
• Create dashboards and validate task results against requirements.
• Complete assignments through the ticketing system, including occasional after-hours or weekend support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle, MS SQL, or Vertica.
• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or other data integration and ETL tools, plus at least 2 years of data analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
• Strong analytical, communication, multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must work remotely from the United States and provide high-speed internet access and a dedicated, secure work area.

Nice to have

• Healthcare experience involving enrollment, medical claims, or pharmacy claims.
• Experience with multi-datacenter F5 deployments and global traffic management.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or F5 AFM firewall and security platforms.
• Experience with certificate lifecycle management platforms such as AppViewX.
• Automation scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Ansible.
