What you will do

• Review complex oncology patient records against clinical and payer policy requirements.
• Escalate ambiguous cases involving multiple cancer diagnoses, complex treatment histories, or incomplete documentation.
• Audit AI-generated clinical classifications and evaluate performance against established review standards.
• Identify errors, trends, and opportunities to improve AI-assisted clinical review workflows.
• Define clinical decision logic, provide structured feedback, and support testing of AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.

Requirements

• Active RN license from a US state or compact license required.
• At least five years of oncology nursing experience in clinical review, utilization review, case management, infusion, navigation, or related settings.
• Strong knowledge of cancer biology, oncology treatment pathways, disease staging, and patient treatment journeys.
• Experience interpreting medical records and clinical documentation, with strong clinical decision-making and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use technology platforms and digital workflows extensively.
• BSN preferred; ADN with significant oncology experience considered.

Nice to have

• Oncology Certified Nurse certification.
• Experience with payer policies, utilization management, prior authorization, or medical necessity review.
• Experience with AI, automation, clinical decision support, or technology-enabled healthcare workflows.
• Experience using Salesforce, Epic, LIMS, or similar healthcare platforms.
• Familiarity with molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, or MRD testing.
