Lead System/Business Analyst (Travel Insurance)

What you will do

• Lead system integration and business analysis activities for a mobile travel insurance platform.
• Collect, structure, and clarify business and functional requirements, creating user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and end-to-end flows.
• Prepare and prioritize the backlog with product and business stakeholders and facilitate refinement sessions.
• Analyze customer journeys covering policies, coverage, assistance, claims, registration, authentication, and related services.
• Identify dependencies, gaps, edge cases, risks, and inconsistencies across mobile applications, backend systems, APIs, and teams.
• Support implementation, testing, UAT, release preparation, production issue analysis, and documentation in Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in complex system integrations and strong business/system analysis expertise.
• Experience leading requirements independently and working with user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, backend integrations, data flows, and distributed systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience facilitating refinement sessions and requirements workshops in Agile, cross-functional environments.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or above.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, travel insurance, or financial services.
• Experience with customer-facing mobile applications and policy, coverage, claims, or assistance processes.
• Experience with authentication and customer account management flows.
• Understanding of microservice architecture.
