TL;DR
QA Engineer (UAT): Validating web and application platforms against business requirements, functional expectations, and quality standards with an accent on user acceptance testing, software QA, and release readiness. Focus on designing test plans and cases, tracking and retesting defects, performing regression testing, and validating fixes before release.
Location: Remote within the United States; US citizenship required
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do
- Execute User Acceptance Testing to verify business and end-user requirements.
- Perform software QA testing across web and application platforms.
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders throughout testing cycles.
- Validate fixes, complete regression testing, and confirm acceptance criteria before release.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be able to pass a Public Trust investigation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing and Software Quality Assurance.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective test cases and document defects clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with test management or defect tracking tools.
- Experience supporting production releases.
- Experience testing data center to SaaS solutions.
- Certification or experience in Section 508 digital accessibility compliance.
