Test Engineer (.NET)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; onsite work required 2 days per week

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the full software development lifecycle for enterprise applications and technology solutions.
• Write and maintain test cases, test plans, test scripts, process workflows, and testing documentation.
• Perform integration, system, production readiness, and user acceptance testing.
• Test web applications, data-entry systems, client-server applications, legacy data migration, queries, reports, and system interfaces.
• Analyze user requirements, identify integration and compatibility issues, troubleshoot production problems, and assess testing risks.
• Collaborate with project teams, client leadership, and project managers on requirements, test results, recommendations, and application deviations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent technical skills.
• 8+ years of software testing experience supporting .NET development teams.
• Knowledge of testing tools for .NET and C# applications.
• Experience documenting test scenarios, cases, plans, scripts, and process workflows.
• Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC two days per week.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust government clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum and Kanban methods.
