Software QA Analyst (Datalytics)

Location: Remote, based in the United States; occasional work-related travel may be required. Candidates may optionally work onsite at select hirify.global office locations.

Salary: $59,200–$109,020 annually. For specified U.S. locations, the range is $68,080–$109,020; for other U.S. locations, it is $59,200–$94,800.

What you will do

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for clarity, completeness, and testability.
• Design and execute manual test plans, cases, and scenarios for web features, integrations, enhancements, and defect fixes.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, release, and API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Use SQL and relational databases to validate data, workflows, and application behavior.
• Validate authentication, authorization, access control, input handling, and other web security requirements.
• Document defects, support triage and release readiness, reproduce penetration-testing findings, and validate remediation with developers and product managers.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
• At least 3 years of professional software QA or testing experience, including manual testing of web applications.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and scenarios; reviewing requirements; documenting and retesting defects.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum environments, REST API testing, Postman, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience testing security-related requirements and supporting penetration testing, including reproducing findings and validating remediation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, and remote collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, Selenium, Playwright, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
• Experience testing complex workflows, third-party integrations, data-heavy applications, or regulated and security-conscious products.
• Awareness of usability, accessibility, browser compatibility, and responsive web behavior.
