Intern Business Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Ottawa, Canada; attendance at the Ottawa office is required at least three days per week.

Salary: CAD 19.46–28.55 per hour

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders, developers, administrators, and solution architects to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Support enterprise applications, including Salesforce and other business-critical go-to-market platforms.
• Triage and resolve incidents, service requests, enhancements, and user inquiries.
• Gather requirements, analyze business processes, assess impacts, test solutions, and support validation.
• Configure, test, and deploy low-code solutions and automation initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and training materials while contributing to Agile planning, releases, workshops, and process optimization.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Technology Management, Engineering, or a related program, or recent/upcoming graduation within 12 months of the placement end date.
• Strong interest in business systems, enterprise applications, software delivery, and technology-enabled transformation.
• Experience with or willingness to learn low-code/no-code platforms such as Salesforce.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and document requirements and processes.
• Full-time availability for an 8- or 12-month placement starting in January 2027.

Nice to have

• Salesforce experience in administration, automation, reporting, dashboards, security, or development.
• Salesforce Trailhead badges, Superbadges, or certifications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, user stories, testing, software development lifecycle concepts, release management, or application support.
