Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Operations (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of 6–10 Business Operations Analysts and Revenue Cycle Specialists.
• Oversee revenue cycle management, inventory management, client SLAs, invoicing, paybacks, accounts receivable, and month-end revenue close activities.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of post-audit inventory, including turnaround times, escalations, due diligence, reconciliation, and financial evaluation.
• Partner with Finance IT, Accounting, Billing, client service, engineering, and audit operations teams to resolve issues and deliver client outcomes.
• Analyze revenue, claims, inventory, and operational data to identify unrealized value, conversion opportunities, financial leakage, and process improvements.
• Lead workflow modernization, revenue cycle tool upgrades, automation initiatives, AI enablement, and appropriate offshoring of revenue cycle work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, actuarial science, business administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of direct people leadership experience in finance, accounting, revenue cycle, or healthcare technology.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, revenue cycle practices, medical claims, reimbursement policies, audit analysis, medical terminology, and healthcare datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, macros, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, queries, and complex formulas; experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with client partnership, process improvement, large unstructured datasets, billing or accounts receivable, and cross-functional leadership.
• CPA certification and familiarity with agentic AI, machine learning, RPA, NLP, or advanced statistical methods are relevant qualifications.
