Construction Scheduler/Planner (Primavera P6)

Location: Remote in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area initially, with an expectation to work from QISG’s future Pittsburgh office once construction is complete. Up to 15% domestic travel required.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Linear Schedule Method and Critical Path Method schedules for EPC, Design-Build, and CMAR projects.
• Create, baseline, update, and analyze cost- and resource-loaded schedules using Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with business developers, project managers, engineers, estimators, procurement specialists, suppliers, and trade contractors.
• Connect Work Breakdown Structures with Financial Breakdown Structures and produce cash flow curves, earned value metrics, and KPIs.
• Optimize work sequences, productivity durations, and short-interval scheduling while proactively managing project risks.
• Perform schedule analysis and time impact analysis and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience developing resource- and cost-loaded schedules.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
• Experience with design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams on heavy construction, power delivery, or water infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of earned value metrics and strong communication, organization, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
