Full Stack Developer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance front-end and back-end components for web applications supporting advanced cybersecurity capabilities.
• Design scalable, performant applications with authentication, authorization, session management, and third-party API integrations.
• Implement unit, integration, automated, and smoke testing while troubleshooting software defects.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, deploy applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and monitor performance and reliability.
• Apply secure coding practices, encryption, credential and secret management, error handling, and security logging.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams; document changes and mentor team members.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within one year and DHS Suitability.
• 8+ years of directly relevant software development experience and experience leading multiple software development teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, and Node.js; experience with front-end and back-end frameworks, JavaScript, React, and Java Spring.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, cloud computing, SQL or relational databases, Agile development, Linux or Unix, Jenkins or CloudBees, and large-scale system performance, scalability, availability, manageability, and security requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, multimedia storage, knowledge databases, and data-mining analytics.
• DoDM 8140.03 DCWF Information Systems Security Developer, CSSLP, CISSP, or Scrum Master certification.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.
