Electronic Security Project Manager - Boydton, VA - USA

Location: Boydton, VA 23917, USA; regular work on client and construction sites with travel up to 25%.

What you will do

• Manage the scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction of electronic security systems projects from initiation through closeout.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, technicians, schedules, task lists, deliverables, meetings, and project communications.
• Manage client relationships, expectations, communications, and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform field verification, document site issues, coordinate drawings and documentation, and facilitate design reviews.
• Coordinate system programming, final checkout, punch lists, training, and project turnover to clients, service, and sales teams.
• Complete systems integration projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with established processes and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction trades and settings or electronic security systems.
• Strong technical abilities and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Client-facing experience with a professional demeanor and a solid understanding of PMP methodologies and best practices.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to work regularly on construction and client sites, including standing, climbing ladders, using stairs, lifting or moving materials up to 20 pounds, and complying with PPE and site safety requirements.

Nice to have

• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• Knowledge of Lenel, Genetec, or Avigilon certifications.
