Senior AV Support Services Technician (Audiovisual)

Location: San Diego, CA, USA; onsite Monday-Friday for eight hours per day

What you will do

• Support and maintain 70 conference rooms, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, MS Hubs, Focus Booths, Laboratory Teams Phones, and digital signage.
• Provide white-glove meeting and event support, including startup, monitoring, active troubleshooting, training, and conference room maintenance.
• Resolve AV service tickets using ServiceNow and manage AV inventory and critical spares.
• Support Crestron programming, AV installations, conference room upgrades, and future room design and implementation.
• Act as the onsite liaison between the client, vendors, hirify.global, and project teams for AV and IT initiatives.
• Perform preventive maintenance, break/fix repairs, process improvements, and resolution of complex AV system issues.

Requirements

• Must work onsite Monday-Friday for eight hours per day, with start and end times determined by hirify.global and the client.
• At least five years of enterprise-level AV support experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams products, including Teams Rooms and MS Hubs, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing systems.
• Competence with Crestron control systems and experience testing and troubleshooting complex AV systems.
• Knowledge of equipment rack wiring standards, event best practices, and the physical ability to lift or maneuver up to 75 pounds and work in confined, elevated, hot, or cold environments.

Nice to have

• CTS certification from AVIXA or manufacturer certifications such as QSC, Cisco, ClearOne, Crestron, or Extron.
• Experience with QSC, Crestron, Cisco, Microsoft, Biamp, or Poly equipment.
• Knowledge of signal flow across audio, video, control systems, lighting, networking, access control, phone, and camera systems.
• Experience working directly with executives and clients in high-pressure meeting environments.
