Project Director, SCADA Facility Controls (AMER)

Location: AMER; regular travel to project sites and attendance at construction, commissioning, and stakeholder meetings required

What you will do

• Own controls and networks delivery outcomes across the AMER data center portfolio and active project pipeline.
• Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers and regional delivery resources, including prioritization, capacity planning, and performance management.
• Manage integrated delivery from design and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning, operational handover, and closeout.
• Coordinate Design & Construction, site operations, commissioning agents, contractors, vendors, OEMs, system integrators, and global technical SMEs.
• Maintain portfolio governance covering scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, decisions, change control, and executive reporting.
• Personally lead complex or high-risk projects and drive resolution of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and site-readiness blockers.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive project, program, construction, engineering, or operations delivery experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial infrastructure, energy, utilities, or similarly complex technical environments.
• Experience leading multi-project portfolios and managing Project Managers or delivery teams with accountability for schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder outcomes.
• Strong experience coordinating construction, commissioning, technical vendors, system integrators, engineering teams, and operations stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of data center systems including BMS, EPMS, SCADA, OT networks, telemetry, critical power, and cooling.
• Proficiency in integrated schedules, cost and change control, RAID management, executive reporting, issue escalation, and project governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
