Compensation Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid role based in Boston or New York City, with a minimum of three days per week in the office

Salary: $65,000–$90,000 in Boston or $75,000–$95,000 in New York City, plus annual bonus target

What you will do

• Prepare year-end compensation reports, presentation materials, system data, and HR portal content.
• Manage the BBH promotion program, including compensation increase recommendations and communication with HR Business Partners.
• Analyze compensation trends and create reports, graphs, charts, and executive meeting materials.
• Manage employee and survey data uploads, survey submissions, and custom vendor reporting for market pricing analytics.
• Lead or support compensation projects, program design, benchmarking studies, pay-equity and gender pay-gap analyses.
• Handle ad hoc compensation requests and manage meeting agendas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3+ years of compensation experience; financial services experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, graphs, and scenario modeling.
• Advanced PowerPoint knowledge, strong analytical skills, and financial numeracy.
• Ability to investigate root causes, solve routine issues independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with compensation year-end salary and bonus cycles and leading projects.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Workday.
• Progress toward CCP or another HR certification.
• Financial services industry experience.
