Technical Program Manager, Central Operations (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; hybrid work required. Travel approximately 20–30%.

What you will do

• Partner with engineering to consolidate operational tools into a central hub covering KPIs, scorecards, benchmarks, safety, security, training, and an AI layer for routine operational questions.
• Own connected depot programs involving AI-enabled camera and video analytics, vehicle data offload, and real-time operational alerts.
• Log, triage, troubleshoot, and escalate depot system issues with clear reproduction details.
• Identify unused platform capabilities and recommend prioritized improvements to Central Operations.
• Scope, pilot, measure, and roll out automation for vehicle charging, cleaning, and other depot robotics across multiple sites.
• Evaluate hardware and robotics vendors through time-boxed trials and make go/no-go recommendations based on performance, cost, capacity, and integration effort.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or technical operations in hardware, robotics, automation, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, logistics, or a similarly complex physical environment.
• Experience with AV operational systems or comparable fleet and operations platforms.
• Working knowledge of system design and architecture across hardware, software, networks, cloud services, and data pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting deployed systems, including logs, configurations, connectivity, and integrations.
• Experience deploying or supporting connected hardware such as cameras, video analytics, sensors, IoT devices, charging infrastructure, or robotics.
• Ability to work with APIs, system integrations, operational data, SQL or BI tools, KPI definition, technical requirements, and ROI analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous vehicles, EVs, fleet operations, mobility, or warehouse automation.
• Experience with autonomous mobile robots, machine vision, automated inspection, or charging automation.
• Experience with AI-enabled operational tools or workflow automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent experience.
