What you will do

• Lead a team of TPMs, delivering high-impact results and guiding professional development.
• Set the program management direction for the autonomy perception TPM team and iterate on development processes.
• Translate corporate strategy into detailed product roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
• Create and deliver technical presentations to downstream consumer teams.
• Represent the team in cross-departmental forums and executive meetings.
• Establish standard reports for effective communications on program status and risks.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in engineering, program management, or management consulting.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a team of technical program managers.
• Deep familiarity with autonomy software development processes.
• Proficiency in tools to manage complex projects (i.e., Gantt charts, risk matrixes, JIRA, etc.).
• Ability to keep the big picture in focus and provide clear, concise communications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Perception, AI/ML, autonomous vehicles, computer vision, large language models, reinforcement learning, simulation, and/or automotive or aerospace processes.
• Experience with developing and scaling strategy, processes, plans, procedures, reporting, and handling escalations.
• Experience managing through other managers.
