Senior Network Engineer (Wireless) (Enterprise Networking): Designing and operating Copeland’s global wireless, WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and firewall infrastructure with an accent on Cisco wireless architecture, RF and Wi-Fi operations, and complex network troubleshooting. Focus on leading Level IV support, mentoring operations teams, automating network administration, and solving chronic performance and connectivity issues across enterprise environments.
Location: Fully remote within the United States, with regular travel to sites as needed; workplace information also lists hybrid and St. Louis, Missouri.

What you will do
- Lead wireless architecture design and operations development for the global enterprise network.
- Plan, design, implement, and optimize wireless, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, firewall, and related network infrastructure.
- Provide Level IV operational support and resolve chronic and complex Wi-Fi and network problems.
- Serve as a technical subject-matter expert for Enterprise IT communications and collaborate with Security and Cloud Infrastructure teams.
- Evaluate network hardware, firmware, software, and emerging technologies while maintaining vendor relationships.
- Develop automation scripts, procedures, training materials, network documentation, and root-cause analyses.
Requirements
- 15 or more years of hands-on experience with routing and switching devices.
- At least 10 years of recent experience designing, implementing, and operating WAN, LAN, and wireless networks using Cisco hardware and tools.
- Detailed knowledge of Cisco wireless solutions, RF, Wi-Fi, Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime, and Cisco Catalyst Center.
- Working knowledge of VLANs, spanning tree, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, SD-WAN, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, subnetting, and supernetting.
- CCNP Enterprise certification is required; a bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

- CCIE certification.
- Equivalent military experience in an IT network specialty.
