Product Owner (Cambridge)

Location: Hybrid role based in Cambridge, United Kingdom

hirify.global operates in the payments industry, with the role supporting the Card Acceptance team and products for global commerce.

What you will do

• Work with product management, business stakeholders, customers, and operational teams to understand strategy, requirements, and opportunities.
• Support the design and delivery of new product features and enhancements.
• Refine epics and features, prepare specifications, analyze data and mappings, and create user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize and maintain the team backlog in Jira and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate demonstrations, product releases, stakeholder feedback, and handover of changes into business-as-usual operations.
• Track delivery milestones, resolve issues and blockers, and communicate risks and progress.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a software development environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with roadmap initiatives, feature refinement, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience creating detailed specifications and user or training guides.
• Ability to understand multiple user journeys and regional requirements.
• Understanding of APIs, including their design and lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, card processing, point-of-sale, or finance.
