Head of Solutions Engineering (Humanoid Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead customer site visits, operational assessments, requirements discovery, and identification of high-value hirify.global robotics use cases.
• Design workflows, layouts, robot configurations, infrastructure, and integrations with WMS, MES, ERP, and existing automation.
• Build business cases, ROI and TCO models, fleet-sizing estimates, deployment cost models, and technical resource estimates.
• Own technical proposals, solution specifications, statements of work, RFI/RFP responses, due diligence, and pre-sales enablement materials.
• Define and coordinate demonstrations, proofs of concept, pilots, acceptance criteria, validation plans, and deployment handovers.
• Establish and lead the Solutions Engineering function across the UK/EU, US, and MENA, including hiring, coaching, processes, tooling, and reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience with robotics, industrial automation, complex hardware solutions, autonomous mobile robots, or AI-driven automation.
• Strong understanding of industrial workflows and integrations with WMS, MES, ERP, and existing automation systems.
• Experience building business cases, ROI models, fleet-sizing estimates, TCO assessments, and deployment cost models.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Deployment, and customer stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work with teams and customers across the UK/EU, US, and MENA.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with hirify.global robotics.
• Experience with operational modelling, simulation tools, and robotics deployment economics.
• Experience scaling a Solutions Engineering or technical pre-sales function in a high-growth technology company.
