Associate, Finance & Strategy - Marketplace

Location: United States; available in Austin, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle

Salary: $87,000–$128,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential equity grants

What you will do

• Track and analyze financial performance drivers, trends, reporting, forecasting, and planning.
• Own the rhythm of P&L reporting and support investment management.
• Translate financial and operational inputs into leadership-ready narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with strategy, operations, product, analytics, and finance teams to identify gaps and develop solutions.
• Evaluate investment requests and support long-range planning that balances growth and profitability.
• Improve, automate, and scale reporting and planning processes.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking within a high-growth technology sector.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing partners at different organizational levels.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including opportunity sizing and business case development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic SQL proficiency or willingness to learn, with the ability to work with large datasets and uncover business insights.
• Must work from one of the listed United States locations.
