Failure Analysis and Quality Control Team Leader (Electronics)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a failure analysis engineering team while providing technical guidance on complex hardware issues.
• Improve quality KPIs through root cause analysis, statistical analysis, yield optimization, and production process control.
• Establish standardized failure analysis methodologies, debug protocols, and quality control processes across global production sites.
• Provide technical leadership across RF, embedded, FPGA, high-speed communication, and mixed-signal systems.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to resolve critical issues and prevent yield impact.
• Manage supplier escalations, DFT/DFM analyses, production-crisis investigations, and critical-path issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in hardware design and failure analysis, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of electronics production processes, DFT principles, and manufacturing constraints.
• Hands-on laboratory expertise with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, VNAs, and automated test equipment.
• Experience with production testing workflows, yield analysis, statistical process control, and systematic root cause analysis.
• Strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with DFT and DFM analysis.
• Proficiency in Python or data analysis tools such as MATLAB and Jupyter.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or formal quality methodologies.
