HW Qual Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Participate in early development phases and optimize design alternatives for multidisciplinary semiconductor equipment.
• Lead module- and system-level risk assessments and evaluate impacts on system performance and integrity.
• Define experiments, lead testing on simulators and real tools, and analyze validation results.
• Present performance conclusions, identify gaps, recommend specifications, and promote corrective actions.
• Approve final designs and specifications for field readiness and develop validation tools for module and system evaluation.
• Travel to customer sites for new design implementation and troubleshooting of complex system issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• More than 5 years of proven experience in Systems Engineering.
• Strong analytical capabilities, a methodical approach, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to lead complex tasks independently.
• Experience across the semiconductor capital equipment product life cycle, from concept and feasibility through new product introduction and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, or JMP.
