Experience Hardware Integration Engineer (Storage)

What you will do

• Evaluate, qualify, and integrate new hardware components and firmware releases into enterprise storage products.
• Debug complex hardware issues across servers, drives, enclosures, power components, and related platforms.
• Collaborate with component vendors and internal Manufacturing, R&D, QA, IT, and Level 3 support teams.
• Lead failure analysis investigations with internal stakeholders and suppliers, driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage new and existing hardware projects and maintain the hardware knowledge base using tools such as Jira and Google Sheets.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience debugging complex enterprise hardware platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Hands-on experience with Bash and Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with Linux environments, system tools, logs, kernel interfaces, drivers, and debugging workflows.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and computer networking concepts, including enterprise servers, BMC, PCIe, IPMI, SAS/SATA/NVMe SSDs, JBODs, Ethernet cards, PDUs, and UPSs.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with strong organization, ownership, and problem-solving abilities.
