Hardware Qualification System Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Coordinate and conduct hands-on functional and reliability testing of complete systems and individual components.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data using data acquisition systems and software tools.
• Assess compliance with specifications, regulations, customer expectations, acceptance criteria, and automotive standards.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering groups to investigate root causes, define corrective actions, and validate fixes.
• Prepare technical reports and present test results and conclusions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Improve testing and analysis tools and scripts and review product compatibility with new customer or design requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience as a practical engineer.
• At least 2 years of experience in product validation or a similar field.
• Experience working in a matrix organization.
• Experience analyzing collected data with Python scripts, Matlab, or AI tools.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• High-level English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Failure analysis experience.
• Experience operating laboratory equipment.
• Experience writing Python scripts for automated tools, including with AI tools.
