Customer Journey Manager (Finance Transformation)

Location: Bristol Harbourside, UK. Hybrid working requires at least two days per week, or 40% of working time, at an office site.

Salary: £61,344–£68,160 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the discovery, design, and delivery of planning and reporting capabilities across Group Planning, Consolidation, Capital Planning, GCT Planning, and related processes.
• Translate complex Finance requirements into customer journeys, prioritised backlogs, business outcomes, and measurable success criteria.
• Facilitate workshops with Finance Directors, Finance Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, Architects, and subject matter experts.
• Identify and resolve planning difficulties, manual processes, and control weaknesses while shaping future-state operating models.
• Develop transformation roadmaps, support prioritisation across feature teams, and ensure solutions align with Finance Platform, Data, and Reporting strategies.
• Champion agile delivery, governance, continuous improvement, and executive decision-making.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience delivering Finance transformation initiatives in large, complex organisations.
• Experience across planning, forecasting, reporting, cost management, or Finance platform environments.
• Experience working with Finance, Technology, and Transformation teams and translating complex requirements into deliverable solutions.
• Experience leading workshops, influencing senior Finance stakeholders, and driving alignment and decision-making.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritisation, and agile delivery skills across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Group Planning, Capital Planning, Cost Planning, or Management Reporting.
• Experience with Oracle EPM, FCCS, EPBCS, or similar enterprise planning and performance management platforms.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or product-led and platform-based organisations.
