Deployment Engineering Intern (AI Robotics)

Salary: $35.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Triage field issues with deployment engineers by reproducing problems, gathering logs and context, and documenting common fixes.
• Test software and hardware changes and collect feedback from pilot teams.
• Build and maintain systems for keeping technical documentation and training materials current.
• Develop troubleshooting curricula for pilots and support coaches in delivering training.
• Shadow deployment engineers during bug triage, issue tracking, and testing.
• Communicate feedback and documentation gaps clearly to engineering.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Available for a minimum 10-week internship starting January 2027.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
• Comfortable learning new systems quickly and working hands-on with hardware.
• Organized, self-directed, and able to communicate effectively with pilots, coaches, and engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience creating tutorials, training materials, or teaching.
• Familiarity with Linux, Python, or debugging robotic and automated systems.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, Notion, or similar project management and documentation tools.
