What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs for web applications.
- Build and optimize data storage solutions, databases, schemas, and queries.
- Integrate backend functionality with frontend components to support a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot backend issues and optimize full-cycle system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with production backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Go or C#, and its frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, frontend development, Node.js with TypeScript, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with relational databases; PostgreSQL experience is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Low-level understanding of network protocols and Windows internals.
- Experience with cloud services such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
