is building an AI-powered fintech platform that analyzes sales and banking data to provide personalized growth plans and funding for eCommerce businesses.
What you will do
- Deliver backend features end to end using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
- Review, refactor, and harden agent-generated TypeScript for correctness, readability, and security.
- Write technical specifications for AI agents and verify generated code before review.
- Build internal tools and workflows with the Claude Agent SDK and API, including Slack bots, data lookups, and R&D automation.
- Define guardrails for agent access to production data, secrets, and payment flows.
- Track agent output quality, rework rates, and development cycle time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production backend systems.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, with daily production use of Claude Code or a comparable AI coding agent.
- Strong code review skills, including identifying subtle bugs, edge cases, and unnecessary complexity.
- Functional programming proficiency, including pure functions, immutability, composition, and explicit side effects.
- Strong SQL and MySQL skills, plus AWS experience with Lambda, RDS, S3, and Secrets Manager.
- Clear written English for prompts, technical specifications, and pull request descriptions.
Nice to have
- Experience configuring Claude Code with custom skills, hooks, subagents, and MCP servers.
- Experience building tools and workflows with the Claude Agent SDK or API.
- Fintech experience, including payment flows and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift.
