Labor and Employee Relations Manager France

Location: Remote in France. The role may support operations across multiple French locations and requires up to 25% travel.

What you will do

• Advise HR partners and business leaders on employee relations matters, company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
• Manage individual and collective employee relations cases, including workforce reductions and organizational changes requiring consultation with works councils and employee representative bodies.
• Lead and support investigations, performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, grievance hearings, and other associate-related matters.
• Develop, implement, and maintain employee relations policies, procedures, toolkits, and standard work.
• Coordinate with the Labor & Employee Relations Center of Excellence, Compliance, Legal, operating companies, and employee representative bodies.
• Maintain case data and reporting, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Juris Doctor, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in labor and employee relations, HR business partnering, employment law, or a related HR discipline.
• Experience managing investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workforce reduction activities.
• Experience working in a unionized environment and/or with works councils and other employee representative bodies.
• Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations in the relevant jurisdictions.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Employee relations experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Advanced competency in preparing and negotiating collective or company agreements.
• Experience with employee relations case management systems and reporting tools.
