Senior IP Trademark Paralegal

Location: Hybrid in-office/remote schedule from Washington, D.C., Boston, New York, Houston, Philadelphia, Orange County, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Seattle, or Chicago, United States

Salary: $84,200–$152,198 per year depending on location and experience; eligible employees may also receive an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare trademark and service mark registration applications, prosecution filings, maintenance filings, and record title updates.
• Prepare Trademark Trial and Appeal Board filings and copyright registration applications.
• Support trademark and copyright due diligence, online preliminary clearance searches, and search guide preparation.
• Draft correspondence for clients and local counsel regarding trademark prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.
• Track upcoming deadlines and coordinate with attorneys to keep clients updated.
• Provide additional support to the Intellectual Property Practice Group as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 6 years of trademark prosecution and maintenance experience in a law firm.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize competing client and assignment demands.
• Advanced legal research and investigation skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures, adapt to change, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• A paralegal certificate is strongly preferred.
