What you will do

• Design system software architecture for embedded platforms and on-device experiences.
• Develop low-level drivers and framework software in C and C++.
• Build device-focused infrastructure software in Python.
• Debug issues at the hardware-software interface.
• Optimize software for performance and lower power consumption.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and code reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in system software engineering and embedded platforms.
• Professional experience with C or C++.
• Strong background in systems design and architecture.
• Experience working with embedded hardware and software interfaces.

Nice to have

• Modern C++, Android, Linux, or Windows experience.
• Experience with optimization tools such as Perfmon or Valgrind.
• Experience porting reference algorithms to hardware accelerators such as GPUs or DSPs.
• Familiarity with ARM System-on-Chip architecture and bare-metal firmware for microcontrollers.
• Experience using laboratory equipment such as logic analyzers for low-level software debugging.
