FVX Process Engineering Technician (Days)

Location: Malta, New York, United States; on-site role with alternating 12-hour day and night shifts.

Salary: $43,100–$70,600 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor, control, and test equipment and products for manufacturing readiness.
• Track workstation performance, troubleshoot equipment interruptions, and resolve process and factory-system errors.
• Review Statistical Process Control charts, respond to out-of-control conditions, and troubleshoot defects.
• Document events, communicate end-of-shift status updates, and maintain effective pass-downs.
• Develop and update operating procedures and support training activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects while collaborating with production, equipment, lead technician, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience is required.
• Written and verbal English fluency required.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while wearing required semiconductor protective clothing.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and lift product carriers weighing up to 20 pounds for short distances.
• Ability to work any shift on alternating 12-hour day or night schedules.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, manufacturing, or production.
• Experience with data analysis, computer information systems, technical or engineering software, or Microsoft Suite applications.
• Relevant military or customer service experience.
