TL;DR
Mechanical Engineer (Thermal Control Systems) (Aerospace): Designing, developing, testing, and delivering thermal control systems for human-rated artificial-gravity space stations with an accent on heat exchangers, cold plates, heaters, heat pipes, and thermal-fluid analysis. Focus on defining system requirements and margins, leading qualification testing and design reviews, integrating hardware across station systems, and ensuring manufacturability and reliability through production and orbit insertion.

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. The role requires willingness to work evenings and/or weekends during critical mission milestones.

Salary: $86,100–$122,220 for Mechanical Engineer Level I; $112,340–$159,468 for Level II; $137,760–$195,552 for Senior Mechanical Engineer Level III.
