Provider Contracting Executive

Location: Remote Alabama; must live within reasonable driving distance of the Alabama region. Travel to providers of up to 20% is required, with occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings.

Salary: $94,900–$130,500 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Initiate, negotiate, and execute physician, hospital, and other provider contracts and agreements for the Alabama market.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for providers and communicate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates.
• Analyze the financial impact of contracts and terms and develop reimbursement rate proposals.
• Maintain contracts and documentation in a tracking system.
• Identify and recruit providers based on network composition and business needs.
• Advise executives on functional and segment-specific network strategies and complex contracting matters.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive network management and network administration experience in a healthcare company.
• At least 2 years of project leadership experience.
• Extensive provider contracting experience, including negotiation, preparation, implementation, financial analysis, and rate proposal development.
• Must live within reasonable driving distance of the Alabama region and be willing to travel to providers up to 20% of the time.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions on complex issues with minimal supervision.
• Dedicated home workspace and internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with ACO or risk contracting.
• Experience with value-based contracting.
