DevOps Engineer Knowledge Management (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; candidates must already be located in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work there.

Gross monthly salary: €5,030–€7,183 for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Build and maintain features for Nexa, a scalable and developer-friendly knowledge platform used by more than 8,000 engineers.
• Help connect AI initiatives, including the Athene AI chatbot, into a coherent experience for engineers.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting application development and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Monitor cloud and application performance, availability, and reliability while optimizing resources and costs.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve security and deployment processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, system administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code, and Linux server environments.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with familiarity with Agile and Scrum.
• Must be located in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands; relocation from another country is not supported.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational database technologies.
• Software development experience with Python or C# .NET and the ability to contribute to application codebases.
• Front-end development experience, especially with React.
• Experience with full-stack cloud-native architectures, RESTful APIs, web services, and SaaS integrations.
